Just say no to dull dinners! This quick-and-spicy dish has a hands-on prep time of only 15 minutes! Serve it over spaghetti noodles or rice, topped with shredded cheese, to wake up your weeknight meal.

  Ingredients  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup Kellogg's® All-Bran® Original cereal
  • - OR -
  • 1 cup Kellogg's® All-Bran® Bran Buds® cereal
  • 1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can (16 oz.) whole, peeled tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 bay leaf

    In large saucepan, cook ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is browned, stirring frequently.

    Stir in remaining ingredients, cutting tomatoes into pieces with spoon. Cover. Cook over low heat about 1 hour. Stir occasionally. Remove bay leafbefore serving.
